Change your email

devboxes confirms an email change at the current address first and at the new one second, so a person who holds only one of the two inboxes can't move your account.

In the devboxes dashboard:

1. Open Account and security from your account menu. Under Profile, the Email row says which address you sign in with.
2. Choose Change email, enter the address in New email, and choose Send confirmation.
3. Open the email that devboxes sends to your current address, and open its link.
4. Open the email that devboxes then sends to the new address, and open its link. Then sign in with the new address.

When devboxes has sent the first email, the result's data reads "status": true. Then open the two emails as in steps 3 and 4.

Both links work for one hour. When a link has expired or was already used, devboxes says so: on Account and security when you're signed in, and on the sign-in page otherwise. Start again at step 1.
